Obituary for Mr. Floyd N. Cagle

Mr. Floyd Neuby Cagle, 95, of 1231 Ben Lambeth Road, Asheboro, NC, died Monday, March 01, 2010, at Randolph Hospital Inc.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. Harold Hammond and J. Raiford Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Sugg’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Star, NC.

Mr. Cagle was a native of Moore County, NC and he retired from Eveready/Energizer after 37 years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jewel Luck Cagle and his second wife, Mabel McIntyre Cagle.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Jeanette Skeen, of Denton; sisters, Louise Hancock, of Star, Betty Routh, of Randleman, Ollie Watts, of Archdale; brother, Roy Cagle, of Asheboro; nephew, Willis Cagle and his wife, Teresa, of the home; one step grandchild and one step great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
